How to connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other AI agents to sitebrunch.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects AI agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex to sitebrunch. Your agent then works directly with the data of your projects.
Requirements:
You have a sitebrunch account and access to at least one project.
You use an AI agent that supports MCP servers over HTTP.
The configuration in the dashboard
In the “Account Settings” you find the section “AI Agent Connection”. Copy the configuration for your agent there. The server address is always the same:
https://mcp.sitebrunch.com/Claude Code
Run this command in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http sitebrunch https://mcp.sitebrunch.com/OpenAI Codex
Add this entry to the file ~/.codex/config.toml:
[mcp_servers.sitebrunch]
url = "https://mcp.sitebrunch.com/"Then start the sign-in:
codex mcp login sitebrunchCursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop and GitHub Copilot
Add a server with the address https://mcp.sitebrunch.com/ in the MCP settings of your agent. In Claude Desktop you do this under “Customize” and “Connectors”. In GitHub Copilot the tools only work in agent mode.
Sign in and choose the access
The first time your agent uses sitebrunch, your browser opens. You sign in with your sitebrunch account and choose what the agent may do:
“Read only”: The agent sees projects, test results, comments and statistics. It changes nothing.
“Read and write”: The agent can also document fixes, start scans, reply to comments and mark them as done.
The access applies to all projects you have access to. After that, the connection stays in place. To change the access, connect the agent again and pick the other option.
After that, your AI agent can query analytics and conversions and add notes to the charts.
